Kalunda Mercy Mwikali is a dedicated and compassionate Counseling Psychologist with a Diploma in Counseling Psychology from KCA University. She is passionate about mental health advocacy, emotional wellness, and providing holistic support to individuals facing psychological, emotional, and social challenges. With practical experience offering counseling services in both hospital and community settings, Mercy demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and a deep understanding of human behavior.
She has provided psychosocial support to diverse clients, including adolescents, patients in medical wards, and individuals navigating grief, trauma, or mental health conditions. Her approach integrates person-centered therapy with cognitive-behavioral techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Mercy is also experienced in developing therapeutic programs, facilitating support groups, and offering online counseling services via Zoom. She is a licensed member of the Counseling and Psychologists Board of Kenya (Reg. No. C&P/C/1003/2024).
Beyond counseling, she is a natural communicator and former class representative, with strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills. Her interests include writing, charity work, self-care advocacy, and supporting vulnerable populations.
