Mutual Respect & Dignity
Every individual deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for:
- ✕ Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind.
- ✕ Discriminatory language based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability.
- ✕ Using the platform for non-therapeutic purposes (e.g., dating, solicitation).
Privacy & Confidentiality
Protection of personal information is paramount.
- Counselors: Must adhere to strict ethical guidelines regarding client confidentiality and data privacy laws.
- Clients: Respect the privacy of group therapy participants by not sharing what is discussed outside the session.
- Prohibited: Recording sessions without explicit written consent from all parties is strictly prohibited.
Professional Boundaries
Maintaining clear professional boundaries ensures effective therapy.
- Communications should remain within the platform's secure messaging and video tools.
- Romantic or sexual relationships between counselor and client are unethical and strictly forbidden.
- Counselors must provide services only within their areas of competence and licensure.
Our Commitment to Enforcement
We take these standards seriously. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent banning from the My Wellness platform, depending on the severity of the infraction.
